Who We Are
The founders of Asphaleia understand the importance of communities of faith in strengthening and improving our world. They also have combined over a half century of experience in understanding security risk and developing solutions to defend against threats. Combining their expertise with their passions resulted in the creation of Asphaleia – a company focused on developing custom solutions and security plans for faith based organizations. We understand both the security and faith communities. We know the challenges of each. We will work with your organization to find the best ways to protect what you value most.

Executive Team
Brian Wood
Has over 25 years of military and law enforcement experience, dedicated to protecting people, facilities, and other assets from theft, attack, malfeasance, and other risks in a wide range of environments. As a federal law enforcement officer, he has been responsible for protecting government employees and assets in the United States and abroad in a range of communities from friendly to hostile. In addition to these security duties, he was also responsible for advising senior government officials, both U.S. and foreign, on security risks and mitigation measures.
Kenneth Graf
Global security leader with 19-years of experience providing executive protection for elected officials at the highest level of the U.S. government as well as visiting Heads of State. This experience includes providing close protection security, designing security plans, conducting vulnerability assessments, investigating threats, assessing protective intelligence, and leading teams responsible for these activities. Also served as an Assistant Attaché to the Netherlands and Head of Desk at Europol representing the U.S. government as a subject matter expert on cybercrime investigations and cybersecurity
Operational Team
Marcus Briggs
Marcus is not only the company pastor, he’s also the lead pastor of Riverpark Church in Shreveport, LA., a thriving church that thinks out of the box. He is passionate about making a difference in the people around him and loves helping leaders grow and develop to be difference makers as well. Marcus is a graduate of Northwestern State University and has served on the boards of several non-profit organizations. When he’s not serving with Riverpark, Marcus will either be with his wife and 3 kids or on a tennis court somewhere.
