Security Risk Analysis

A Security Risk Analysis (SRA) is a holistic approach to identifying risks and vulnerabilities, and developing sound strategies to address these.

Instead of a template approach to security, our SRA involves the leadership team and key stakeholders talking through concerns, resources, and strategies to identify what the organization values most, what the greatest risks and vulnerabilities are, and what can be done to best protect the people, things, and information that are most valuable.

Physical Security Assessments

A Physical Security Assessment involves walking through your work environment, reviewing security plans and policies, and talking frankly with key personnel in the organization about security and safety operations.

– Multi-site Organization Security Review:
For larger, multi-site organizations, the security review can become more complex, but our team can help you identify and understand some of the unique security challenges that can occur from having multiple locations.  Then, we help you address those concerns.

 – Safety and Security Plans:
Planning for emergencies like natural and man-made disasters.  Our team can help you consider the risks and develop sound strategies that meet your specific needs and resources.

Transportation Security Assessments

A thorough assessment of transportation services, roads and surrounding venues/organization is essential to identify physical vulnerabilities during events and emergency situations.

This is important if your organization has a shuttle service, nearby public transportation, or other transportation services that may be of concern to staff or visitors.

Community Outreach & Integration

If your organization has outreach locations, our team can conduct a review and assessment of any risks and vulnerabilities related to those locations, and provide recommendations on reducing those risks.

– Security Procedures Review:
We will conduct a detailed review of any safety and security policies and procedures you may have in place and provide recommendations for improving them for better performance and efficiency.  Additionally, we can help you draft new procedures.  This works best when completed in conjunction with a detailed SRA.

– Local Law Enforcement Integration and Coordination:
Asphaleia can provide initial or ongoing coordination and liaison with local law enforcement agencies.  The best practice is for your organization to have close integration with those agencies, and we can help get you started.

Security Team Recruitment, Vetting & Training

Training and recommendations on security team composition, vetting resources (including through Asphaleia), and training on best practices for routine daily operations, worship services, and special events.

– Training and recommendations on security team composition, vetting resources (including through Asphaleia), and training on best practices for routine daily operations, worship services, and special events.

– Staff Security Awareness Training: Training for all staff members, not just security personnel, on security issues, awareness, and ways to stay safe.

Executive Protection

For high profile leadership, Asphaleia can train security staff members on executive protection principles.

– Leadership Residence Security:
A residential security review can be valuable for the homes of key leaders in the organization, especially if those leaders have a high profile, whether locally, nationally, or even internationally.  This review and assessment is similar to the Physical Security Assessment listed above, but is tailored towards the benefits and challenges of someone’s home.
